I have finally reached the ripe old age of 30, (gasp) but seriously its not so bad. I have discovered some of those dreaded silver hairs, and I am sure there are more coming. But I look back and cannot believe it has gone by so quickly. Life seemed to take forever, and now it seems to short. I decided to take some time out and do some things I love. Its easy to get caught up in life and forget to take time for yourself. Life is not a spectator sport!!
Today was Aspen's special day. She was baptized by her father. Josh was very excited and was beaming with pride. We love her so much and are proud of her.
when we first walked down to the beach we were stunned by how soft the sand was, its like powder. Josh said its even softer than the beaches in Hawaii. The water is a beautiful turquoise blue. The kids wasted no time in building sandcastles, and they even set up there very own sea weed garden. The only casualty in the move from Dominica to the Bahamas was Jared's sand pail. He ran as fast as he could from the water to the sand castle, not much water made it. We have since replaced the pail, reliving Jared's frustration.
Our new place in the Bahamas is unbelivable, it is night and day, compared to Dominica. We have a beautiful water front veiw, and the kids love the balcony. It is very open and bright, we are doing great and LOVE it here!
The Georgia Aquarium was a lot of fun, the Aquarium its self is quite large. The kids loved the shark and sting ray petting pool. The Giant fish tank was also fun.
I was finally able to see the Golden age of the Pharaohs exhibit. It was amazing, I wandered around for hours looking at all the artifacts. The kids enjoyed it as well, they were on their best behavior. We also wen to the Coke factory, and the Georgie Aquarium. Both were very fun!
We went snowshoeing up at Sundance for New Years. The day was sunny and Beautiful! Jared was on the look out for bears. He kept saying "SHH!! mom or you will wake up the bears!" He really is a character. That's why I love him.
